ASP (Active Server Pages): A dynamic programming framework for the Internet developed by Microsoft. 

CMS (Content Management System): A system used to manage the content of a Web site. The site content is generally stored in a database and the information is managed through a back-end control panel.

CSS (Cascading Style Sheets): A stylesheet language used to describe the presentation of an HTML page. 

Flash: Adobe Flash, or simply Flash, refers to both the Adobe Flash Player, and to the Adobe Flash Professional multimedia authoring program.

HTML (Hypertext Markup Language): The predominant markup language for the creation of web sites and page. 

JavaScript: A scripting language commonly used for client-side, web development.

MS SQL: A relational database management system owned and developed by Microsoft. 

MySQL: A relational database management system owned and sponsored by a single for-profit firm, the Swedish company MySQL AB. 

PHP: A dynamic programming language primarily used for web application building.

Web Services: A software system designed to support interoperable computer to computer interaction over a network, such as the Internet. 

XML (Extensible Markup Language): A general-purpose markup language. It is classified as an extensible language because it allows its users to define their own tags. Its primary purpose is to facilitate the sharing of data across different information systems, particularly via the Internet.
