Overview

Office Products Recycling Associates (OPRA) is an inkjet/toner cartridge and cell phone recycling brokerage. Global Re-Source Funding is an end-user collection program, created by OPRA,  that schools, churches, small businesses and non-profits use as a fund-raising program.

Their original web site was primarily static. Therefore any changes or additions to the web site had to be taken to resources outside their company. Due to the nature of their business, changes and additions were frequently required, leading to additional costs, as well as delays in making necessary changes to the content and appearance of their web site.

OPRA needed a solution that would allow them to make timely changes to their web site and lower their costs.

Solution

The solution for OPRA was a Content Management System (CMS). High Touch developed a custom solution for OPRA's CMS, that answered their unique needs. Using an embedded rich text editor, this solution gives them the freedom to style text as they would like it to appear on their site.  The solution includes media management for photos, graphics, ads, etc.

Result & Benefits

The CMS allows OPRA to keep the site fresh. New content can be added whenever needed, as well as removing outdated information. New marketing programs and offers can easily be added, which improves communications between OPRA and their client base.
